Linking to Your Echo360 Section Home in Blackboard

Once you have created a link to Echo360, you can then link directly to your Echo360 section home page, or you can link to an individual classroom session. This guide will demonstrate how to link to the Section Home in Echo360, where students can access all videos from a single link in Blackboard.

Accessing Echo360 in Blackboard

To access Echo360 through Blackboard, click the Echo360 link you created in your Blackboard course. Note: If you are accessing the Active Learning Platform through Blackboard for the first time, you will be prompted to log into Echo360 using your Echo360 username and password. This will only appear the first time you access your Echo content from Blackboard.

Linking an Echo360 Section with Blackboard

You will now see a screen with the Echo360 logo and a message reading  Connect your Echo360 Content.

  1. Course: Use the Course dropdown menu to select the course you want to link to.
  2. Term: Use the Term dropdown menu to select the term you want to link to.
  3. Section: Use the Section dropdown menu to select the course section you want to link to.
  4. To create a link to the section home page in Echo, click the Section Home button.
  5. After you have selected to link to the Section Home, click the Link Content button.

If you are creating multiple links to individual classroom sessions in your Echo course, you will only need to perform steps 1 - 3 the first time you link to Echo. For subsequent links, you only need to select the content you wish to link to.
