Viewing the Performance Dashboard

The Performance Dashboard allows instructors to view performance data for students in one location such as course access, review status, discussion board posts, and student grades.

Accessing the Performance Dashboard

Log into your Blackboard course, and locate the Control Panel:

  1. Click on Evaluation.
  2. Select Performance Dashboard.

Viewing the Performance Dashboard

Clicking on the number in this column will list the items the student has marked as reviewed.5.Adaptive Release: Clicking on the icons in this column will display any adaptive release rules that may apply to the student.6.Discussion Board: This column shows the number of posts each student has made in the discussion board.  Clicking on this number will allow you to see the posts the student has made.7.Customize Retention Center: This column shows the number of retention center rules that apply to the students.  To customize rules and view retention center status, click on the number in the student's row.8.View Grades: Clicking on the icon in the student's row allows you to view the student's grades.

You will now see a screen labeled Performance Dashboard:

  1. User Information will appear in the four columns to the left labeled Last Name, First Name, Username, and Role.

  4. Review Status: This column shows how many items the student has marked as reviewed.  Clicking on the number in this column will list the items the student has marked as reviewed.
  5. Adaptive Release: Clicking on the icons in this column will display any adaptive release rules that may apply to the student.
  6. Discussion Board: This column shows the number of posts each student has made in the discussion board.  Clicking on this number will allow you to see the posts the student has made.
  7. Customize Retention Center: This column shows the number of retention center rules that apply to the students.  To customize rules and view retention center status, click on the number in the student's row.
  8. View Grades: Clicking on the icon in the student's row allows you to view the student's grades.
