Editing Evaluation Questions

This guide will demonstrate how to edit questions in a Self and Peer Assessment.

Editing a Self and Peer Assessment, Part 1

To edit a Self and Peer Assessment, click the chevron next to the assessment and choose Edit from the menu.

You will now see a screen labeled Edit: Peer Evaluation with the following options: Assessment Canvas, Properties, and Export Assessment.  Select Assessment Canvas to build the assessment questions.

Editing a Question

Locate the question you wish to edit and click the chevron next to the question and choose Edit from the menu.

Entering the Question Information

You will now see a screen labeled Add Question.  In the section labeled Question Information, enter the assessment question text in the textbox provided.

Entering a Model Response

You will then be returned to the Assessment Canvas.

The section labeled Model Response allows you to enter a model response for students to follow when evaluating papers:

  1. Model Response: Enter a model response for students here.
  2. Available: Select Yes to make the model response visible to students when evaluating the submission.
  3. When finished, click the Submit button to create the question. You will then be returned to the Assessment Canvas.
