Exporting Files

This guide will demonstrate how to export files from the Content Collection as a .zip package for storing the files offline.

Accessing the Course Content Collection

To access the course content collection, go to the Blackboard Control Panel:

  1. Click on Content Collection.
  2. Select the course ID of the current course listed beneath the Content Collection header.

 

Exporting Files

You will now see a screen labeled Course Content.  To download course files and folders:

  1. Locate the file(s) you wish to export and check the checkboxes to the left of the filenames.
  2. Click the Download Package button at the top of the page.

The file will then be downloaded to your computer.  Select a location to save the file on your computer.

Downloading all Files

Instructors can also download all files at once instead of selecting individual files.

To download all course files as a .zip package from the content collection:

  1. Locate the class title header at the top of the page and press the contextual menu button.
  2. Select Download Package from the menu and select the location on your device you wish to save the file to.
