Viewing Respondus Monitor Student Sessions

Updated on

These instructions will demonstrate how to access recordings created during a Respondus Monitor session. Respondus Monitor provides thumbnails for each minute of recorded video, so it is not necessary for instructors to watch each student's recording in its entirety. It can take up to 12 hours for the video to process and become available.

Note: If the Respondus Monitor requirement is removed from the exam, instructors will no longer able to access the recordings. Instructors will need to re-enable the Monitor requirement in order to view session recordings.

Recordings over 12 months old will be archived and moved to Respondus's Long Term storage. Access to videos to archived videos can be accessed through the Results area as described in this document and clicking on the Restore Videos button. It may take up to 12 hours to restore archived videos.
