This article explains how students can use a second camera in Respondus LockDown Browser when their instructor enables the setting.
Students will use their computers camera plus a second device that can scan QR codes (for example, an iPhone or Android phone). If the instructor permits, students may also use an iPad as the second device. Students can test their device at www.respondus.com/camera2
Students will be prompted to go throug the steps on using Respondus Monitor. Select Agree.
1. Set the device on do not disturb and select the check box on the screen.
2. Select Confirm.
Select Setup Second Camera.
Scan the QR Code.
In this step, students will go to the second device to select Allow.
1. Position the camera according to the instructions.
2. Select I'm ready.
Navigate back to the computer to select Continue.
Proceed to finish the additional instructions for Respondus Monitor.
