Help Desk
The UToledo Online Help Desk provides Blackboard Learn, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, Echo360, Respondus, and Respondus Lockdown Browser technical support for faculty and students. Please visit the UToledo Online Help Desk page for contact information, hours, and additional resources.
Instructional Design
Instructional designers work collaboratively with faculty in the design and development of online and blended learning courses. Faculty and teaching assistants for online and blended courses are welcome to schedule a design consultation to discuss best practices for online learning. Educational Technology
Educational technologists provide workshops, group presentations, and one-on-one training sessions to faculty, staff, and teaching assistants for the educational technologies supported by the University. The technologies can be used in fully online, blended/hybrid, or web-assisted face-to-face courses. Faculty and teaching assistants are welcome to schedule a technology consultation. Multimedia Design
UToledo Online’s multimedia designer works in collaboration with faculty and instructional designers to provide effective, high-quality multimedia design services to support student learning and enhance course design, in both online and blended formats. Accessibility Services
In collaboration with the Student Disabilities Services (SDS) and online instructors, the ADA instructional designer supports faculty needs in course design and course material remediation by following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 and utilizing the framework of Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
