Alternative format creation for individual items can be disabled by the instructor if providing alternative formats runs counter to the course's instructional mission or to uphold the terms of use for licensed content.
Disabling Alternative Formats
To disable Alternative Formats for a specific item, locate the item and click the Alternative Formats button.
On the Download alternative formats screen for the selected file, click the triangle next to Download Alternative Formats at the top of the page.
Select Turn off alternative formats for this item.
The image above shows that alternative formats have been turned off for the selected item. To re-enable alternative formats, click the button labeled Turn on for this item.
