This article will cover setting up Respondus Monitor to require a second camera to add an additional video angle while students are taking a test.
This setting will require students to use a device that can scan a QR code with a camera, for example, iPhone, Andriod or a tablet. Instructors may need to turn on the use of an iPad setting. Students can test their device at www.respondus.com/camera2.
In Respondus Lockdown Browser settings, select Require Respondus Monitor for either Webcam Only or Webcam + Screen.
Select the plus sign to expand the Second Camera settings.
Select the check box to require the second camera
Select Edit Text to customize the default message shown to students.
