This article will cover when going to Open Microsoft for Education and selecting the Meetings application and receiving the message Couldn't Load Your Calendar, Please Try Again.
Note that this error is typically due to Multi-Factor Sign in with UT Office 365 account.
Using Chrome or Edge open a new private/incognito browser.
For Chrome:
To start an Incognito session:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select More New Incognito window.
- A new window opens.
- On the right of the address bar, you’ll find the Incognito icon .
To open an Incognito window, you can use a keyboard shortcut:
- Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS: Press Ctrl + Shift + n.
- Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + n.
For Edge:
You can open an InPrivate window in different ways:
- Select and hold (right-click) the Microsoft Edge logo in the taskbar and select New InPrivate window.
- In Microsoft Edge, select and hold (right-click)a link and select Open link in InPrivate window.
- In Microsoft Edge, select Settings and more > New InPrivate window.
Log into office.com. It should request to sign in with MFA.
Keep the incognito/private browser open. Then open a new regular (not incognito/private) tab.
While still in the incognito/browser, go to Blackboard's course. Under Details & Actions, select View Course & Institutional tools.
Select Microsoft for Education. It may have you sign in again.
Select the Meetings application.
Switch back to a regular (not incognito/private) browser and to verify access to Meetings.
If a meeting is already scheduled and having difficulty joining, a work around is to go to Outlook Calendar or Teams Calendar to join.
