Creating Guest Links in Learn Ultra Course View

Guest Links allow instructors to invite users outside of the course to participate in a class session. This guide will demonstrate how to create guest links to Class Collaborate sessions in Learn Ultra Course View.

To create a guest link for the course room in Learn Ultra, click on the three dots [⋯] to the right of the Class Collaborate header in the Details and Actions panel on the right side of the screen.

A menu like the one in the picture above will open. Click on Get Course Room guest link to proceed to the course room settings.

You will see the course room at the top of the page.

  1. To create the course room guest link, click on the ellipsis on the right.
  2. Select Edit Settings on the link.

You will now see the session settings screen:

  1. Check the checkbox for Guest Access.
  2. Use the dropdown menu to select the guest role.
  3. Click the Save button

Once you have clicked Save, the guest link will be available to be copied to the clipboard. Click on the square icon next to the guest link text to copy to the clipboard.

To create a guest link for scheduled sessions in Learn Ultra, click on the three dots [⋯] to the right of the Class Collaborate header in the Details and Actions panel on the right side of the screen.

A menu like the one in the picture above will open. Click on Manage all sessions to proceed to the course room settings.

You will see the list of scheduled sessions on the page. To create a guest link for a scheduled session:

  1. To create the session guest link, click on the ellipsis to the right of the session name
  2. Select Edit Settings on the link.

You will now see the session settings screen:

  1. Check the checkbox for Guest Access.
  2. Use the dropdown menu to select the guest role.
  3. Click the Save button

Once you have clicked Save, the guest link will be available to be copied to the clipboard. Click on the square icon next to the guest link text to copy to the clipboard.
