Session Reports give you an overview of when participants joined and left your sessions. It also gives you an idea of how long participants were present in the session on average. With this knowledge, you can check in with individual participants to see if they were having any technical issues or need a quick review of what was presented and discussed.
If you've used a session more than once, there will be a separate report for each time it was used.
Where to Find Session Reports
You can view Reports from the list of sessions in your Class Collaborate Ultra dashboard.
Access your Collaborate Ultra Session(s)
First click on the Collaborate Ultra Content Area link in the main menu of your course. Then click on the Collaborate Ultra Sessions link in the Content Area--you should now see the Sessions page with a listing of your Collaborate Sessions.
Selecting View Reports
- Click on the Sessions Options button for the Session that you wish to view an attendance report.
- Then click on View Reports from the drop-down menu.
You should now see the Session Reports screen with a listing of each our your sessions as shown below.
Select View Report
To view the Session Report (showing attendance) for a particular session, click on the View Report icon corresponding to that session. You should now see the Attendance Report as shown below.
The default view shows session shows all reports. If you want to limit the view to the last 30 days, select Show Recent Reports in the upper right hand corner. If you wish to view reports within a specific date range, select Reports in a Range, and then specify the date range you wish to view.
Attendance Report
The Session Report for the particular session you selected will show you the name of each attendant, the exact time they joined and exited the session, and the total time they spent in the session. You can now either print the report or exit the report by click on the "X" in the upper-left corner of the screen.
Print Reports
You can create a printable version of the full report to print.
Creating a printable version of the report
From the Session Report page, click on the Printable link under Export Report on the left side of the screen. You should now see a printable version of the Session Attendance Report in a new tab or window in your browser as shown below.
Filter Reports by Date
If you have a large list of session dates, you can filter your report list by date range.
Showing report in a range
From the main Reports page,
- Click the reveal triangle just to the right of Show Recent Reports.
- Select Show Reports in a Range from the drop-down menu.
Selecting a Search Range
You can now select a range of dates to filter your search by click on the calendar icons and selecting the beginning and end dates to search between.
Filter Reports by Participant
If you have a large list of participants, you can filter your search by entering the name of the participant you are looking for.
Selecting the Search function
From the full report page, select Search Report by clicking on the magnifying glass icon.
Enter the name to search or filter on
Type the name of the participant you are looking for. As soon as you start typing, the list will be filtered by the characters you enter. If there is no match with the characters you enter, you will get this message: "We found no session attendees matching that criteria."
