  1. What is Blackboard Ultra and how is it different from the previous version of Blackboard?

Blackboard Ultra Course View (UCV) features a streamlined, user-friendly experience for both instructors and students. It is different from the previous version of Blackboard (sometimes referred to as Blackboard Original) in several key ways.

 

Students enjoy enhanced features and tools in UCV:

  • Most common document types can be viewed directly inside the course such as PDFs, Word, and PowerPoint files.
  • Accessibility options, such as high-contrast mode, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support to make it easier to access course materials.
  • UCV offer an improved mobile experience.
  • Static menus provide consistent navigation with fewer clicks.

2. How do I access my Blackboard Ultra courses?

Select Access Blackboard and type in your UToledo Username and your Password to sign in.

3. Can I use my mobile device to access my Blackboard Ultra courses?

Students can download the Blackboard App using the Apple App Store or Google Play.

4. How do I navigate my Blackboard Ultra Course
