About the Content Library

The Echo360 Library allows you to manage, share, and upload content to the Echo360 platform.

To view an item, click on the thumbnail for the item you wish to view. To edit the item, hover over the thumbnail, and click the button that appears in the upper right hand corner of the item.4.To upload content, click the Upload Content button.5.To view content you created, click the My Content link.6.To view content others have shared with you, click the Shared with Me link.

When you log into Echo360, you will see a screen similar to the one above:

  1. Library: Click this link to view and manage your Echo360 media content.
  2. Courses: Click this link to view courses you are enrolled in. Please refer to the chapter on managing courses for more information.
  3. Collections: Click this link to manage collections.
  4. Analytics: Click this link to access analytics for media items
  5. Create: To upload or create content, click the Create button. Refer to Uploading Content for more information
  6. Use the search bar to search for specific content items.
  7. Filter: Click this link to refine the current content view. Instructions on filtering content are available below.
  8. Sort by: Use this option to choose how to sort the displayed content.
  9. Collections: A list of collections will appear here.
  10. Media: Thumbnails of content items will appear on the bottom portion of the screen.

Filtering Echo360 Content

To filter content:

  1. Type: Select which type of content to display (presentation, video, or audio)
  2. Owner: Select the owner of the content you would like to view.
  3. Source:  Select the media source from the list (e.g. classroom captures, meeting recordings, personal capture, etc)
  4. Status: Select whether to view shared or unshared content.
  5. Term: Select a term to view content for.
  6. Course: Select a specific course section to view content for.
  7. Click Apply to apply filters.
