Creating a New Class

This guide will demonstrate how to create a new classroom in your Echo360 course section.

A Class in Echo360 is a container to hold a single video and an accompanying presentation slide deck. A class can be thought of as a specific lecture or topic.

Creating a New Class

Within your current course, click the New Class button to create a new classroom

Entering Class Details

To create a new class:

  1. Name: Enter a name for the class here.
  2. Start date: Enter a start date for the class.
  3. Start time: Enter the starting time for the class.
  4. Duration: Enter the duration of the class here.
  5. Description: Enter a description for the class here.
  6. When finished, click the OK button to create your class.

The class will then appear in your class list for the current Echo360 section.
