Linking to Your Echo360 Section Home in Blackboard
You will first need to create a link to Echo360, which you can then link directly to your Echo360 section home page, or you can link to an individual classroom session. This guide will demonstrate how to link to the Section Home in Echo360, where students can access all videos from a single link in Blackboard.
Accessing Echo360 in Blackboard
To access Echo360 through Blackboard, click the new Echo360 link you created in your Blackboard course.
You will be prompted to create a new section. Select the current term from the drop down to continue to the next screen in which you can select the cloned section you've created.
Linking an Echo360 Section with Blackboard
Click to expand the Link to existing section home page. (Linking to existing section content will only allow you to connect to a single video or session in Echo. Linking to the home page is the list of videos in your cloned section).
You will now see a screen with the Echo360 logo and a message reading Connect your Echo360 Content.
- Click the option labeled Link to existing section home page
- Use the Section dropdown menu to select the course section you want to link to. If you cloned your section, you should see a drop down that includes your the automatic 001 section and the new section you created with your unique section name that you designated when you cloned it.
- To create a link to the section home page in Echo, click the Continue button.
Do not see your courses? Only courses associated with the current term in Echo360 will be available to be selected. if you have content in a previously created course you would like to reuse, you would need to clone the section, set the term to the current semester designation, select the current course, and enter a new name for the Section.
