Create Echo Video with PowerPoint

This guide will demonstrate using Echo Video to capture a PowerPoint Slide show when using more than one monitor. When using more than one monitor and a user select Start Slide Show on PowerPoint, PowerPoint will display on 2 monitors. This guide will show which screen should be displayed for the full screen PowerPoint.

At the top left of Echo Video, select the Untitle - Library pencil icon.

1. Provide a title of the video.

2. Select Save.

Before starting the capture, be sure that the PowerPoint displays as shown above. Select Capture.

Echo will count down the seconds and will automatically collapse. While Echo is counting down, go to the PowerPoint and select Play from Start.

Finishing up

Once completing the slideshow and lecture, select Esc on the keyboard to get out of the slideshow.

Echo Video will be found at the bottom of the screen, select it to open it and select the square button to stop.

Echo Video will process. The Video can be found at Echo360.org using login [email protected] and UT password.

The video will process in the instructors Library, note it'll take double the time to process as long as the video is. For example, if the video is 30 minutes, it may take 60 minutes to process in the Library. Echo360 will send an email to UT account when the video process is completed.
