Point Solutions is a product of Echo360, and replaced Turning Point. Point Solutions operates on a user pay basis, requiring students to purchase a physical clicker or an online subscription. Polls can be embedded into Powerpoint or can be standalone.

At UToledo, PointSolutions is managed by Classroom Support Services.

Polling in EchoVideo

In EchoVideo, there are two options for delivering polls.

EchoVideo allows instructors to upload slide decks and add interactive polling questions. Polling activities include multiple choice questions, short answer, ordering, numeric, and hot spot activities. Polls can also be  embedded in videos to create interactive activities that can be embedded in Blackboard.

Knowledge Checks

Another option for polling learners is to create a knowledge check item within your Blackboard course. Knowledge checks are not graded but can be used by instructors to check students' understanding of concepts covered in a specific lesson. The video above from Blackboard provides additional details about using knowledge checks.
