Setting Up Test Exceptions and Exemptions

This guide will demonstrate how to set Exceptions and Exemptions for assignments and tests. An Exception is a modification of submission rules (e.g. availability, time limit, number of allowed submissions), while and Exemption removes the assignment from the student's grades.

In addition to setting exceptions, instructors can also specify accommodations for time limits or due dates that apply to all assessments in the course.

This guide shows instructions for the Blackboard Learn Ultra Course View. If this does not look like your current course, please refer to the Blackboard Learn Original Guide.
