This article will discuss common conversion exceptions in Ultra course view and possible issues after converting to Ultra Course.
Common Conversion Exceptions
- All unsupported font colors have been changed to black to ensure a sufficient contrast ratio for improved accessibility.
- Weighted total and total column in gradebook isn’t supported at this time and was removed.
- Collaborate course links aren’t supported and were removed.
- Rubrics convert but some formatting may have changed.
You will be able to create new total columns in Ultra Gradebook.
Class Collaborate no longer needs to be linked in the content area and is available as a static link in the Details and Actions menu of Ultra.
Possible Conversion Issues
Modules with folders more than 3 deep may need to be rearranged. Can use Learning Modules and Module Folders in Ultra.
This is based on web design principles that nothing should be more than 3 clicks away. UToledo Online suggests using a Learning Module at the top content level, then placing content inside each module.
