Blackboard Ultra Course View supports direct integration with Microsoft Teams.
July 2025 update - Microsoft is currently updating the integration with Blackboard and Teams. These instructions will be updated as the new integration is rolled out later this year.
Teams ClassesÂ
Instructors teaching in Blackboard Learn Ultra have access to link Teams Classes with Blackboard. Teams Classes allow for a full range of interactions within the Teams Class, such as messaging, channels, and meetings.
Teams Meetings
Once Teams is enabled in the course, instructors can then schedule Teams meetings for their live class sessions or virtual office hours.
If you see the alert above associated with your linked Team in Blackboard, do not panic. Microsoft indicates that existing Teams Classes and Meetings will not be affected by the LTI change in September 2025. This means you can continue to use Teams in your courses.
