Blackboard Ultra Course View allows instructors to view how many students have read course announcements. This guide will demonstrate how to view which students have read course announcements.
Accessing Course Announcements
To access course announcements, click on the Announcements tab within your Blackboard UCV course.
Viewing Student Views
Locate the announcement from the list and go to the Viewers Column. You will see the number of students who have viewed the announcement in comparison to the number of students enrolled in the course.
Student View Summary
On the next page, you will be able to see the Viewers Summary.
- At the top, the Viewers Summary shows the total number of students who have viewed the selected announcement.
- Filter By: Use the Filter By dropdown menu to show all recipients, those who have read the selected announcements, and those who have not viewed the selected announcement.
- Recipient Name: student names will appear in the column on the right.
- Status. This column shows the present status as to whether or not the listed student has read the selected announcement.
