This Blackboard integration brings Microsoft 365 Education experiences like OneDrive/Microsoft 365 files, Teams for collaboration, Teams Meetings, OneNote class notebooks, and more directly into your Blackboard course.
August 2025 update - Microsoft is actively developing this integration so changes may appear as new features/changes are added
Teams ClassesÂ
Instructors teaching in Blackboard Learn Ultra have access to link Teams Classes with Blackboard. Teams Classes allow for a full range of interactions within the Teams Class, such as messaging, channels, and meetings.
Teams Meetings
Teams meetings can be scheduled and joined directly in Blackboard. Teachers and students can view past and upcoming meetings, schedule individual or recurring meetings, and join team meetings related to the course, all from within the LTI link inside Blackboard.
OneNote Class Notebooks
OneNote Class Notebook is a digital notebook for the whole class to store text, images, handwritten notes, attachments, links, voice, video, and more.
Each notebook is organized into three parts:
- Student Notebooks: A private space shared between the teacher and each individual student. Teachers can access every student notebook, while students can only see their own.
- Content Library: A read-only space where teachers can share handouts with students.
- Collaboration Space: A space where everyone in your class can share, organize, and collaborate.
