This article will cover setting up or editing Test Settings.

Once in a test, select the gear icon for more settings.
Details and Information

1. Select the due date box to update/change the due date.
Or,
2. Select No due date.
3. Prohibit late submissions and any test in progress will submit at the due date and time.
4. Prohibit new attempts after due date, student can't start new attempts once the due date and time has passed.
5. By allowing class conversations, instructors and students can create a discussion. It is not a discussion board, it pertains to this test only. It is not graded.
Presentation Options

1. By default, the test will show all questions at once. Select the check box to display one question at a time.
2. Randomize questions
3. Randomize answers.
4. Randomize pages, this is only if an instructor has set page breaks within the test.
Formative Tools

If this is a formative assessment, by selecting this checkbox indicates to a student that it is labeled formative. It does not change the test functions.

1. By creating a test it will default to the Test category.
2. Select the drop down to change to more than 1 attempts.
3. Select drop down to change to Letter, Percentage, or complete/incomplete.
4. The maximum points will total from each individual question points. In this example there are 10 questions at 1 point each.
5. To hide students name, select Anonymous grading. Will need to turn off automatic grade posting to use this feature.
6. To assign students to grade assessment, select Delegate Grading.
7. By default assessment will post grades automatically for auto-graded questions types only.
Assessment Results

Instructors can edit how the assessments are shown to students, these options include
- After submission
- After individual grade is posted
- After due date
- After all grades are posted
- On a specific date
- One time only
Assessment Security

1. If instructor needs to add an access code, the link Add access code will generate one for them.
2. To enable Respondus Lockdown Browser, select the link to enter the dashboard.
3. Add a time limit to the test.

1. Instructors can add a description of the test.
2. Select Save.
