This article covers how to turn off the course messages tool within a single course.
Instructors can turn off the messages tool within a single course, however, the course message envelope for students to email instructors remains. Th course message envelope will be visible to students undet the instructors name in Details and Actions to allow students to easily contact their instructors via email.
Select the gear icon for Course Settings.
Under the Messages heading, toggle off the setting to allow course messages.
