Using Microsoft Teams Whiteboard While Recording a Meeting

Updated on

This article will cover how to record a Teams Whiteboard while using the record feature in Teams.

When using the Share feature of Teams Whiteboard while recording a Microsoft Teams meeting, the built-in Whiteboard feature is not fully captured in the recording. Teams will only save a single snapshot of the final state of the whiteboard, not the full drawing or writing process.

The workaround:

1. Start a Whiteboard in Teams

2. Select open in browser

3. Return to Teams and share your screen
