Creating a Rubric
After creating an assessment or assignment, select the gear icon for setting to create a rubric.
Select Add grading rubric.
Select Create.
Editing a Rubric.
By default Blackboard's rubric's type will be set up by percentage with 4 criteria rows and 4 scoring columns as shown above.
To change the Rubric Type select the drop down arrow to choose Percentage, Percentage Range, Points, and Points Range.
To edit a criterion, select the pencil icon to edit or the trash can icon to delete.
To add a criterion, hover between where the new criterion needs to be and select the plus sign.
To make changes to the columns, hover over the column and select the pencil icon to edit or the trash can icon to delete.
To add additional columns, select the plus sign.
