Enable Microsoft Teams for Blackboard Ultra Course View (UCV)

This article will cover how to enable a Class for Microsoft Teams for Blackboard Ultra Courses. 

Microsoft Teams can be used for live class sessions and other direct course interactions.

Microsoft and Office365 technical support is provided by the IT Help Desk.

Enable Teams in Blackboard Ultra Course View

Under Details and Actions, select Enable Microsoft Teams.

Select Sync with Microsoft Teams.

Open new Class for Microsoft Teams

1. Select the Teams tab on the Microsoft Teams application.

2. Select the 3 dots for more options.

3. Select Activate team.

The creation process may take a few minutes.

Select Ok.

Student and instructor enrollments will automatically be synced to the new Team.

Microsoft Teams content is separate from Blackboard; no other content such as grades or materials will sync up with Blackboard and Teams.
