Moving an Item or Folder

This lesson will demonstrate how to move an item or folder to a different location in the current course site.

Select the Content to Move

In your Blackboard course, locate the folder that you wish to copy, and click the chevron next to the item and choose Move from the menu that appears.

You will now see the following screen labeled Move. Under the section labeled Destination:

  1. Destination Course: Select the course to move the materials to.
  2. Destination Folder: Click the Browse button to select the folder to move the materials into.
  3. After you have selected a location, click the Submit button to move the item.

On the screen that pops up, select the folder to move the materials to.  Once you have selected the folder, you will be taken back to the Move Item screen.
