Embedding a YouTube Video

Another method of adding a YouTube video to Blackboard is to embed the video directly using the share code from YouTube.

Click Share Under the Title of the YouTube Video

Find the YouTube video you want and click Share underneath the title of the video.

Click Embed and Copy the Code

Click Embed and copy the code in the box that appears.

In the content area of the Blackboard course where you want the video embedded, hover over Build Content and click on Item.

Click the HTML Button

Click the HTML box in the formatting toolbar of the item.

Paste the Code from YouTube

Paste the Code from YouTube

Paste what you copied from YouTube in the HTML window that appears and then click Update.

Click Submit

Click Submit

After altering the appropriate settings, click the Submit button. You will then see the video embedded in your course.
