This guide will demonstrate how to demonstrate how to delete threads within a discussion forum.
Once a thread is deleted, it will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Accessing the Discussion Board
Log into your Blackboard course and click on the Discussion Board link in the course menu.
Accessing a Discussion Forum
Click on the name of the forum from which you would like to delete posts from.
Deleting Threads
To delete threads:
- Check the checkboxes to the left of the threads you wish to delete.
- Click Delete to delete the selected threads.
Confirm Thread Deletion
A dialog box will pop up asking you if you wish to delete the selected threads. Click the OK button to delete the selected threads.
