Instructors can create folders to better organize content within the Content Collection. This guide will demonstrate how to create folders.
Accessing the Course Content Collection
To access the course content collection, go to the Blackboard Control Panel:
- Click on Content Collection.
- Select the course ID of the current course listed beneath the Content Collection header.
Creating a Folder
You will now be taken to the Course Content screen. To create a folder, click on the Create Folder button at the top of the page.
Naming the Folder
You will now see the current screen expand to show an option labeled Folder Name:
- Folder Name: Enter a name for the folder here.
- Click Submit when finished.
After creating the folder, you will see a green banner at the top of the screen that reads Success: (Folder Name) Created. The folder will then appear in the file list below.
